Personal Bio

I grew up in my Uncle’s theaters and learned to sew at age 6.  When I was a child all I wanted to do was listen to 1920’s records and wear 16-18th century costumes. I had great Halloween costumes.  I have been a costumer for plays since grade school, was head costume mistress in high school and college and have worked in the costume department for professional theaters since I was a child. Recently I completed an internship in fashion merchandising for Ralph Lauren and worked reconstructing Vintage Menswear for W.O.W. in San Francisco.

I’m in the beginning of this video wearing the 1960’s orange floral dress and 1950’s navy sweater, organizing the dresses.
