Twiggy, 1960's

Twiggy, or Lesley Lawson (born Lesley Hornby), was an icon of swinging sixties London.  The Daily Express named her “The Face of 1966” and she was voted British Woman of the Year.  Her favorite model and influence is Jean Shrimpton.

After only four years of modeling she retired saying “You can’t be a clothes hanger for your entire life!”
